What if: Richard Nixon agreed to an additional Apollo mission to the moon, but for entirely military reasons.
Summary: Apollo 18 is launched, but the mission begins to go awry when still in Earth orbit when it makes a close pass to examine a Soviet observation platform. Complicating matters is that one of the Apollo astronauts is not what he seems.
