Haslam, Jonathan. "Stalin's War or Peace: What if the Cold War had been avoided?"
Summary: Explores three issues which would have affected the outset of the Cold War: what if the West didn't have the atomic bomb, what if the Soviets had not penetrated western intelligence, and what if Stalin's definition of "sphere of influence" was the same as the of western diplomats. However, while coming to some conclusions on these topics, the essay presents no alternative events which would have happened.
